Whealth Labs LLC ("Whealth", "we", "our", or "us") is a personal finance app that helps you track your finances, manage budgets, and understand your spending. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (encrypted).
When you connect your bank accounts through Plaid, we receive account balances, transaction history, and account details. We do not have access to your bank login credentials - these are handled securely by Plaid.
When you subscribe to Whealth Plus, payment is processed by Stripe (web) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We store your subscription status, plan type, and billing period but do not store credit card numbers or payment method details. These are handled securely by Stripe or Apple.
We collect information about how you use the app, including features accessed and interactions with the AI assistant.
We collect your approximate location (country/region only) based on your IP address when you sign up or use the app. This helps us understand our user base and improve our services. We do not collect or store precise GPS location or your IP address.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We use Plaid, a trusted financial data provider, to securely connect to your bank accounts. We never store your bank login credentials.

Our AI assistant uses Groq's infrastructure to run open-source Llama models. Conversations are processed to provide responses but are not stored or used for training.
We use the Google Places API for address and location lookup. No personal financial data is shared with Google.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Whealth is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
